Inkjet Envelope Machine Operator

As an Envelope Print Operator at RPI Print, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, variable envelopes of various sizes using our Kirk-Rudy inkjet printers and Oki dry toner printers. You'll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining our standards of quality.

This is a full-time position that may require overtime and weekend shifts during peak times.


Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate inkjet and toner printers to produce variable print jobs.
• Ensure production deadlines are met while maintaining high output without compromising on quality.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Keep machines and work areas organized and clean.
• Collaborate as part of a team to meet production goals and train other operators when needed.
• Take on other equipment and general bindery responsibilities as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; print manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on printers.
• Ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to track production data.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
