Summary

We are looking for a Cash Accountant & Treasury Analyst who is hard-working, self-motivated, organized, and shares a passion for excellence to join our sturdy-dynamic team. The Cash Accountant will perform general cash management duties, including entering cash receipts, credit card receivables, funds transfers, and preparing cash forecasts. Experience in e-commerce, reconciling multiple currency bank accounts, preparing/entering JEs related to cash is a plus. This position will also include communicating with customers to resolve account balances and other duties as assigned. The position will support our North America operations.

Responsibilities

Treasury Responsibilities:
- Transfer funds between accounts to ensure that funds are available to pay expenses
- Daily cash reporting
- Recording daily/weekly credit card receivables into the ERP system
- Reconcile selected cash accounts and credit card receivables
- Contributor to enhancing ERP functionality related to banking, treasury, and cash management
- Review bank statements
- Respond to customer inquiries
Downloading bank reports, merchant services statements, and related reports
Research banking transactions
Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to cash accounts and documents business transactions.
Review and investigate any errors and inconsistencies in cash/financial entries, documents, and reports.
Recommends process improvements to support accurate and consistent financial reporting, and to support a strong internal control environment
Assists with annual audit and tax return, working with outside CPA firm
Support the month-end closing process
Perform analyses to determine trends, estimates and significant changes and writes narrative reports explaining findings
Other duties as assigned - experience with General Ledger Accounting for backup purposes

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited university
5-7 years of work experience in a professional business environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
Excellent Excel skills with knowledge of other MS Office software
Very organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Shows commitment through execution of responsibilities regardless of the challenges posed
Experience with an ERP system is a plus
